Who we are
This policy explains how Arvex Technologies Ltd ("we", "us") handles information when you visit our website or use Arvex Vendor, our software for Amazon Vendor Central businesses. We are a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17546465, with our registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
For questions about this policy or your data, email info@arvextechnologies.com.
Information we handle
When you contact us or join the pilot: your name, work email, company name, role and anything you choose to tell us.
When your business uses Arvex Vendor: account details for the people who use the service (name, work email, role, login activity), and the business data you authorise us to access from Amazon through the Selling Partner API. This includes purchase orders, shipment confirmations, invoices, remittances and deductions for your vendor account, plus warehouse and invoice records you choose to connect or upload.
Arvex Vendor does not request access to Amazon customers' personal information for its purchase order, shipping, invoicing and payment workflows. If a future feature needs that access, we will update this policy and ask for your authorisation first.
Our website: we use no advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may record standard technical logs, such as IP address and pages requested, to keep the site secure.
How we use it
- To provide Arvex Vendor to the business that authorised it, including processing orders, shipments, invoices and payment matching.
- To support you, fix problems and keep the service secure.
- To reply to enquiries and run the pilot programme.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We process this information because it is necessary to provide the service under our contract with your business, for our legitimate interests in running and securing the service, or to comply with the law.
Amazon data
Data we receive from Amazon is used only to provide Arvex Vendor to the vendor who authorised our access. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, share it with other customers, or combine it with other vendors' data in any way that identifies you. We handle it in line with Amazon's Acceptable Use Policy and Data Protection Policy for developers.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run Arvex Vendor, such as cloud hosting, email and support tools, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
International transfers
Our team and service providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
How we protect it
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, restrict access to the people who need it to run the service, keep logs of access and automated actions, and review our security practices regularly.
How long we keep it
- Amazon data is kept while your business uses Arvex Vendor. When you disconnect Arvex Vendor or ask us to delete it, we delete it within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep part of it longer.
- Enquiry and pilot correspondence is kept for up to 24 months after our last contact.
- Billing records are kept for as long as UK tax law requires.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for a copy in a portable format. To make a request, email info@arvextechnologies.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use your business's data, we will tell account owners before it takes effect.
